After analyzing GSK’s existing workflow and service requirements, Lithocraft were able to introduce specialist ‘Onsite Print Hubs’ in Melbourne/Sydney. The tailor-made print hubs have a single point of contact (Specialist Design & Print Co-ordinator who provide a comprehensive suite of services).

Schweppes Australia

Situation

 

Schweppes Australia Pty Ltd (SAPL) were looking for a leading edge ‘specialist’  with print, packaging, shed management and POS solutions.

Lithocraft is Mazda’s chosen print provider for all of their dealer(s) publications and brochures. Lithocraft has worked with Mazda for over 35 years for all of their printing requirements.

Hertz

Situation

 

Select the most capable Print, Fulfilment and related services provider who can deliver the best total cost solution, whilst optimising web to print and account management.

After reviewing Hertz’s overall requirements, Lithocraft’s proven in-house model was able to offer a seamless and simplified solution with a focus on print, fulfillment and integrated communications (loyalty program) via technology driven systems.

Country Road

Situation

 

Required an Australian made stock which could be indented. There was an opportunity to look at a CR catalogue & the convenience of them being able to do a press check. We were able to be extremely responsive to their requirements. Impressed with the quality. Work closely with them to enhance their finished product. Working closely with Production Manager to enhance & improve their image.

CSR

Situation

 

CSR approached Lithocraft to design and print a recipe book to be given away in a ‘gift with purchase’ campaign to celebrate their 160 years in Australian pantries. They wanted to collect recipes from across Australia and share them. Their inspiration was for the cookbook to act as a reminder of just how special it can be to pass on a recipe or perhaps create new traditions that are Made for Memories.

The aim of the campaign was to improve sales and win back market share previously lost to private label(s) in a shrinking category due to the anti-sugar movement. Working closely with our creative partner and offshore print partner C&C, Lithocraft produced a cookbook that was able to best represent and share CSR’s recipes with consumers. CSR collected the sweetest recipes from across Australia and the top 75 recipes where then prepared by a food stylist and photographed in studio. The final shots and recipes were then used to create the recipe book layout.

Results

 

The result is a cookbook that showcases CSR’s heritage with engaging authentic recipes that have been passed down through generations of loyal CSR consumers. CSR’s marketing department was delighted. Lithocraft also successfully manage all of their related point of sale (POS) material.

VicSuper

Situation

 

VicSuper is one of Australia’s fastest growing superannuation funds.
They have been around for almost 20 years and were initially looking for a user-friendly online ordering and warehousing solution.

After further consultation with VicSuper, Lithocraft were able to develop online systems, logistics and workflow solutions which were supported by a comprehensive compliance and risk management framework.

Rinnai

Situation

 

Rinnai conducted a formal tender process with the objective of selecting a ‘Printer’ would could offer a seamless, simplified and proven solution for the supply of all of their printing needs.

Working closely with Rinnai, Lithocraft were able to offer an integrated in-house supply model as a manufacturer which extended beyond printing.

CitiPower

Situation

 

CitiPower and Powercor Australia required high quality, brand consistent digital assets delivered in a cost effective, easy to access manner in conjunction with design and print services.

After analysing CitiPower’s requirements, Lithocraft’s proposed solution focused on delivering market leading internet based multichannel publishing products and services. We were also able to demonstrate a fully integrated supply model for design and print services.

Brand consistent superior digital asset management system which could be seamlessly integrated into a single offering combining cost effective design and print services.

Laminex

Situation

 

Lithocraft is the preferred supplier for high end quality print production on behalf of Laminex. Laminex required a higher quality finish to their brochures compared to what they have been supplied. Lithocraft were invited to review the existing offering and suggest any innovative solutions.

Laminex brochures involve colour correct swatches that need to be produced accurately. Previously these had been produced with either a Spot Gloss Machine Varnish or Spot Gloss UV Varnish which didn’t give the desired effect the customer was looking for.

Lithocraft suggested an alternative solution (Matt Etching). This process involved using overall Gloss Laminate with Matt Etching to areas that require the matt finish. This effect really highlighted the gloss range and gave the brochures a more sophisticated feel.

Results

 

Proven cost savings:

  • By using the Matt Etching process, Lithocraft were able to control the entire production  process in – house.
  • This not only resulted in a superior quality finish but improved the delivery timeline to the customer. This also help increase brand awareness to enable Laminex to stand out from their competition.
  • A comparable price was achievable whilst achieving a superior product finish which better promoted Laminex’s product range.

AustralianSuper

Situation

 

Lithocraft’s 20 year relationship with AustralianSuper has been based on a direct supply model to eliminate unnecessary costs and improve workflow.

EnergyAustralia

Situation

 

TRUenergy was rebranding to become EnergyAustralia and required a supplier who could successfully project manage the entire rebrand.

By working effectively with all key customer stakeholders, Lithocraft became an integral part of EnergyAustralia’s business and developed an understanding of their key business requirements and timelines. As a result a consultative project plan was developed and implemented.

A clear and concise plan enabling continual re-evaluation, monitoring and reporting on all key tasks and timelines. This resulted in a successful rebrand from strategy to implementation.

AIA Insurance

Situation

 

AIA Insurance is a specialist provider of life insurance products who were looking for a supplier to deliver measurable cost savings with their printed materials. They also wanted a comprehensive program for both print management as well as storage and distribution.

After reviewing AIA’s key printed items, Lithocraft were able to make recommendations on alternative paper stocks, finishing, sizing, job grouping, freight and mailing solutions.

Significant cost reductions across the production, storage and distribution of printed items. (ie. PDS’s – Approximately 20% annual savings were achieved on the production and distribution of Product Disclosure Statements (PDS’s).
